Pre-Pro Division
Intensive dance classes that prepare students to dance in performing arts high schools, collegiate programs, and professional careers.
A trial class is required for placement in this division.
Students are required to have at least 2 years of training in both Ballet and Modern.
Students in this division are required to take 2-4 classes per week.

Class follows a traditional ballet class structure. Intermediate barre work, center exercises and movement combinations. Students will learn technique and placement, while emphasizing musicality. Combinations to strengthen the legs, ankles, and feet are introduced in preparation for pointe work. Students in Pre-Pro 1 interested in pointe work are encouraged to supplement their ballet training with the Ballet 3 class.

Additional ballet class to further expand upon concepts, and work on pilates based conditioning. Students in this class are preparing to dance en pointe. Open to students in Pre-Pro 2 and Pre-Pro 3.

Once students have been cleared by faculty to excel, classes teach safe and proper technique en pointe.

Taught by professional company dancers, this class rotates to explore Contemporary, Modern, Horton, and Hip-Hop. Includes movement combinations in the center and across the floor. The class also focuses on dance composition, choreography, and improvisation. Occasionally, Special Guest teachers are brought in.
