After School Pick-Up Services

The more children that participate in the pick up from each school, the less the cost is per week. We run this service with the following pricing.

• One child per pick up: $40.00 per day.

• Two children per pick up: $20.00 per day, per student.

• Three or more children per pick up: $15.00 per day, per student.

The more, the merrier!

Typically, our commute from school to the dance studio is done by walking or train where permitted. However, during especially cold or inclement weather conditions, such as snowstorms, icy sidewalks, or freezing temperatures, rain, we may opt to use a cab or Uber service to safely transport students and staff to the studio.

Please note that in such cases, there may be an additional transportation cost, which would not be covered by the program. We will always do our best to notify you in advance if this option becomes necessary.

To help minimize the need for these extra arrangements and to keep your child comfortable and safe throughout the season, we kindly ask that you ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. This includes:

• A warm winter coat

• Hat and scarf

• Mittens or gloves

• Leg warmers or thermal layers

• Winter boots

• Umbrella for rainy or slushy days

If there is ever a need to implement or have this option on standby, we will communicate that to you the morning of, or as soon as the weather demonstrates the need. 

Our caregivers will snap a photo of your child/their respective pick up group and send it to you upon each pick up.

We totally understand — and can make that happen! Should the group decide to stop for a snack, please make sure your child has money packed to purchase their snack. It is not our caregivers’ responsibility to purchase their snack.

Additionally, we sell snacks at the studio for $1.00 each.

Part of our caregivers’ responsibility is to assist your child in preparation for their dance class. They will not depart the studio until they see your child is dressed and ready to dance. This could mean anything from doing their hair to a pep-talk. We are here to help!

Should you like to partake in afterschool pick up, but your child’s school is not listed, we are happy to find a skilled caregiver to attend to your child and bring them safely to the studio for class. Please contact theephyras@creaturespace.nyc to inquire.
